Kunshan is an important town in my country’s machinery industry, ranking first in the country’s top 100 counties in terms of GDP for 17 consecutive years; Kunshan has 1 100-billion-level industrial clusters and 12 tens-billion-level industrial clusters; Kunshan has won the country’s small and medium-sized cities’ comprehensive strength and green Development, Investment Potential, Technological Innovation, and New Urbanization Quality Top 100 counties and cities "Five Nos."; Kunshan is ranked No. 1 in Forbes China's "Top 30 Best County-level Cities".

In Kunshan, where the economy is developing rapidly, in order to comply with the development needs of the CNC tool industry, to standardize the healthy competition of regional enterprises, and to promote the orderly development of the regional tool industry, a group of outstanding entrepreneurs gathered together and worked together to contribute to the vigorous development of Kunshan.

In December 2017, inspired by the national strategy “Made in China 2025”, inspired by the “Chinese Dream, the Dream of Powerful Nation”, under the guidance of the Kunshan Municipal People’s Government, and under the affirmation of the Kunshan Civil Affairs Bureau, in Kunshan City Under the guidance of the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Kunshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Kunshan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, with the support of the Bacheng Town People’s Government and the Kunshan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, 9 sponsors organized and promoted the joint initiative of more than 50 tool companies. The Kunshan Numerical Cutter Association" was formally established in Bacheng Town, Kunshan City.

Since the establishment of "Kunshan Numerical Cutter Association", in line with the purpose of "building an industry platform, standardizing industry standards, reflecting industry demands, and promoting industry development", it aims to build a "Davos Town" in the global tool industry. Utilize upstream and downstream resources to organize various activities to attract global customers and pave the way for investment in Kunshan.

At present, "Kunshan Numerical Cutter Association" has absorbed 160 member units. The association actively organizes member units to participate in various exhibitions, bringing the essence of the industry to all parts of the country; holding independent exhibitions "Double Twelve CNC Tool Exhibition" and "Summit Forum" every year, which brings positiveness to the industry, the supply chain and academic research. Actively organize various expansion and exchange activities, all members work together, pioneer and innovate, set industry benchmarks, and make contributions to industry development.
